Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in volunteering for the Democratic Convention in 2008 to be held in Denver, please go to the Colorado Democratic State Website at www.coloradodems.org and fill out the form they have on line.

Potluck Cookbook:Close your eyes, imagine yourself standing in line at the long potluck table at the J/J dinner and take a whiff.  All those wonderful aromas!  Chicken Marsala, Italian Lasagne, spicy black beans, fruit ambrosia.....mmmmm!  Now, please go to your recipe box and pull out some family favorites - what you brought to the J/J dinner is a good place to start.  Jot down a few favorite recipes and e-mail them to Lu Etta at lloeber@ix.netcom.com or bring them with you Wed. night on June 20th.  (If your recipe is from a cookbook, just alter it a bit to make it your own - you probably do that when you cook anyway!). 

Precinct Captains:  Bob Steele reports that several people have volunteered to help organize their precincts.  Our goal is to have at least one (preferably two) people from each precinct.  Your mission - should you accept it - would be to contact registered Dems in your precinct, help plan the 2008 Caucus (a CRITICAL part of the election) and energize your folks.  We do not have captains for the following precincts: 2,3,8,9,11 & 17.  If you want to be part of the next blue wave in Routt County, please contact Bob at 871-1715 or steeleboat@sprynet.com
